Product Development Engineering Intern
Main Objectives
The TrackX Development team is looking for a Product Development Engineering Intern. In this position, you will have exposure to the R&D aspects of a start-up, including designing, prototyping, and testing tools that are used by surgeons nation-wide.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is designed to enable an undergraduate student in the BME program the opportunity to explore the many sides of working in the start-up environment and in the medical device industry. The position is designed to support an intern as they enhance their individual interests and skills, whether it be working with the hardware, software, or both. The intern will have the opportunity to act in an auxiliary role to all development activities, including:
- Brainstorm solutions to identified clinical problems
- Assist in the design of solutions (hardware and software)
- Assist in validation and verification testing (hardware and software)
- Assist in material generation and documentation maintenance
- Review product issues and assist in necessary investigations
- Assist in the maintenance of our 3D printer
Requirements
Pay Range: $16-19 per hour
Time Period: May-August (flexible, pending school calendars)
Time Commitment: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in-person

Technical Marketing Intern
Main Objectives
The TrackX Product team is looking for a Technical Marketing Intern. In this position, you will have exposure to technical sales enablement responsibility, including reviewing and learning to develop technical content for presentations, demonstrations, videos, e-books, conference talks and sales tools that are used by surgeons nation-wide.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is designed to enable an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Biological Sciences an opportunity to explore the many sides of working in the start-up environment and in the medical device industry. The intern will have the opportunity to act in an auxiliary role to many marketing activities, including:
- Learn about the technical features and functions of the TrackX System
- Create external content such as technical demos, how-to videos, guides, etc.
- Create, deliver and maintain technical selling materials such as presentations made in Google Slides.
- Work with internal stakeholders (product management, engineering, sales, and the larger marketing groups) to create content aligned with business needs
- Work with external customers, technology partners and community members to create compelling stories and case studies.

Product Management Intern
Main Objectives
The TrackX Product team is looking for a Product Management Intern. In this position, you will have exposure to the many phases of the product development lifecycle in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is designed to enable an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field an opportunity to explore the many sides of working in the start-up environment and in the medical device industry. The intern will have the opportunity to act in an auxiliary role to many product management activities, including:
- Gain experience in identifying and solving patient care-related challenges using clinical expertise and data
- Assist in the management of product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond
- Drive projects with market analysis and product definition
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to execute product strategies
- Create/manage bill of materials, execute procedures for product release, and track the development of project components
- Assist in the development and management of innovative products in collaboration with the product management team
- Participate in product design and development meetings and provide valuable insights and recommendations
- Help in the creation of product documentation, such as user manuals, product specifications, and marketing materials
- Conduct product testing and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders
