Clinical Support Specialist
Job Description
Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support in the field to our customers and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Performs installs, evals and software updates in the field
- Supports surgical cases and trainings
- Provide troubleshooting support as requested
- Plans and leads execution of the day-to-day clinical activities with the team, communicates consistently with the account managers and regional sales directors, providing updates and feedback on current field activities
- Identifies opportunities to improve training, execution and customer experience across the team
- Provides surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of TrackX Technologies
- Trains physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, and radiology proper use of instruments, disposables, and software.
- Works with the team to set clinical goals and priorities
- Ensures effective communication plans are place for the clinical team
- Successfully completes TrackX Field Training – including online and field-based training
- Helps manage hospital par levels and trunk inventory once obtained
- Provides additional inventory support to meet customer needs
- Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products or solutions for which training has been completed
- Assists with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives
- Sales Support
- Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscape
- Independently identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Account Managers(s) to support sales objectives
- Ongoing Technical Development
- Stays up to date on new products and software updates
- Completes all assigned training in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in healthcare sales or support
- Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
- Availability to travel 50% of the time
